You don't have to walk this season alone.
I'd be honored to sit with you in this season — to listen, to walk beside you, and to help you find your next step.
Some seasons are too heavy to carry alone — not because you're weak, but because you were never meant to.
I created these conversations for people in the middle of something hard — a loss, a long waiting season, a chapter they didn't see coming — who want a space to slow down and speak honestly about where they are.
These are personal conversations — not therapy, not a program, not a curriculum. Just you and me.
I'll bring Scripture if it would be meaningful to you. I'll pray with you if you'd like that. Faith can be woven through our conversation, or held quietly in the background. That pace belongs entirely to you.
I'll be right there beside you in the hard parts — and I'll walk with you through them.
Companion Sessions are a paid offering. The resources throughout The Yellow Folder Collection remain freely available to you.
What to expect
You don't have to arrive with the right words. You don't have to have it together. You can simply say where you are — and we'll start there.
When welcomed, we'll gently return to what God says — not to rush past your pain, but to find something steady to hold onto while we walk through it together.
I'm not here to fix your season. I'm here to help you discern the next step — and to remind you that you don't have to see the whole path before you take it.
Not a program. Not an agenda. Just a steady presence — someone willing to sit with you in the hard parts and walk with you through them.
What happens next
Just let me know you're here. There's no commitment, no pressure — just a small, quiet first step.
I'll personally respond, answer any questions you may have, and let you know when Companion Sessions become available.
A calm, unhurried conversation centered entirely around you — what you're carrying, what you're hoping for, and what your next meaningful step might look like. No agenda. No pressure. Just presence.
A few common questions
You are welcome here regardless of where you are with faith — or whether faith is part of your life at all. If you have questions, doubts, or no faith background, that is completely fine. Scripture and prayer are available if you want them, and quietly set aside if you don't.
What I offer are personal conversations — a space to slow down, be heard, and find your footing. I'm not a therapist, and our sessions are not clinical care. If you're in a place where professional mental health support would serve you well, I'll gently help you find your way toward those resources.
Prayer is always available, and it is never assumed. If it would be meaningful to you, simply say so. If you'd rather not, that is completely respected — it will never be offered without your invitation.
I will treat what you share with care and discretion. Because Companion Sessions are not therapy, they do not carry the same legal protections as a therapist-client relationship. Before we begin, I'll explain how privacy is handled and any circumstances in which information may need to be shared for safety or legal reasons.
That is one of the most honest places you can begin — and one of the most common. You don't need a clear question or a tidy summary of your situation. Come as you are. The conversation will find its way.
If something on this page made you pause, that pause matters.
Sometimes, a pause is simply the quiet recognition that you don't want to keep carrying this alone.
You don't have to arrive with clarity. You don't have to know what you need or how to describe what you're feeling.
I will meet you exactly where you are.
Simply send me a note.
We'll begin there.
