VIEW COMPANION SESSIONSBefore It Was a Collection
It was simply a yellow folder.
In 2018, I found myself in a season I never expected to walk through. My marriage was unraveling, the future I thought I understood suddenly felt uncertain, and for eighteen months I lived without knowing how the story would end.
So I began gathering what helped me keep going. Scripture I needed to remember. Sermons that met me in hotel rooms and long stretches of travel. Prayers, notes, questions, and truths I was learning to carry before my circumstances had changed.
Eventually, all those loose pages needed somewhere to live. I happened to have a yellow poly folder. I filled it slowly, carried it everywhere, and returned to it whenever life became loud again.
Years later, I realized the rhythm I had lived during that season was already there: Seek. Listen. Read. Write. Practice. Carry.
What began as something I carried through my own hard season has become something I can now share with you.
